Amy Winehouse // Love Is A Losing Game

This is the saddest, most heartbreaking-est song ever. Almost sadder than the line “Our day will come” in the new one. Zane Lowe is playing Back To Black in full on Masterpieces on Radio 1, which was prefaced by discussions with collaborators and soundclips of Amy and I’m this close to being a mess but I’m not and I’m tweeting relative strangers as we all sit and listen together to a record that was supposed to be on last year’s Masterpieces but wasn’t. I’ve been listening to a lot of Amy lately for one reason or another and I’m glad Zane & co. haven’t allowed bandwagon-jumpers and those who only consider it a “masterpiece” since her death to take away its impact or relevance or meaning or sheer sonic beauty.
