Shit. Suppose Tumblr’s the very last safe place as suspected.

Decent effort at username though: @onomumsontwit

Edit: it’s cool to follow her, I don’t care. Make her feel special like when I put her on Banters

Join us as we tag along with celebrity superfans like Harvii, who claims he has had his photo taken with over 1,000 celebrities. Harvii leapt to stardom after a picture of him offering a rose to Megan Fox went viral. Then there’s Steve, who gets the faces of famous people tattooed on his body, and Danilo, who relocated to the UK in search of his ultimate hero, Mel C.

When I befriended the one and only Tom Philip on Facebook, we had one friend in common and the fact that it was Harvii Roseboy Kindlon made me beam with love for the Internet.

Click through and watch part one of this fascinating documentary where the Vice reporter looks exactly like you’d imagine a Vice reporter to look like and the cousin looks like the girl from To Die For and find yourself seriously questioning whether or not you would ever get a tattoo of Giles or the phrase “Spice Up Your Life”.

The only

new feature that Tumblr should implement any time soon and the only real decent thing that Google+ appears to offer is the option to organise what you follow. Much like Twitter lists, it would be wicked if I could categorise my follows so it doesn’t take 3 hours to catch up on blogs each day.

Right now I have a Favs list of TumblBros that I read once or twice a week to keep up to date with particular people and I also have a lot of “News” blogs etc. on start.io. I still want to follow a large number of blogs because it’s still too difficult to find content from less Tumblarious ones but there’s got to be an easier way of controlling my dashboard.

What’s the answer? You don’t have to mention Tumblr’s downtime, I know it has downtime but they’re always developing new features regardless. Am I suggesting something completely crazy? Tumblr Lists/Circles: Wouldn’t it be nice?

I know that things have to change, but I really don’t get just randomly switching up the way a website looks and works for no reason. If the changes made my life a million times better and or looked amazing and made my eyes just want to fuck my Tumblr dashboard for even more hours a day, I could understand, but this is just fucking stupid.

Dash has been Tumblr’s best feature since I started using it and from what I’ve seen, before that too. The update is well-designed (as far as my complete lack of design knowledge allows me to judge) but I feel a bit like it’s reflecting a “New tumblr” - the buttons are way similar to a lot of newer, popular themes, there’s the focus on tracking tags which is ace but it continues that notion of singling out posts for viral success or whatever, rather than consistent blogging. Probably why your “Likes” are in your immediate dashboard too.
It’s kind of a shock. It’s shocking. New Twitter eased us in at least. Tumblr are radicals and push changes daily and all that shit.
But it’s sort of another way that tumblr is catering for new users i.e. teenagers. You know? Kids can’t read books anymore and only eat food that is cooked in 15 minutes or less and need change and think that Mr. Hudson wrote Forever Young and think that Jay-Z is an artist of their generation and fuck I’m old, this makes me feel old.

CHUNDERCATS (I didn’t make this)

We came up with an idea for this on Sunday night as our friend Kat the bartender had to clean up a load of chunder at the bar. I might still make our version though!

URBAN DICTIONARY: chunder

Chunder means to be sick, it originates from old seafareing days when sailors would get seasick and stick their head out of the porthole in their cabin. As they did this they would shout “Watch Under” to warn people in lower cabins of the forthcoming puke. Over the years this has evolved into Chunder.

“…But then I thought, what if Snickers really does satisfy?”

Christine Friar is my favourite blogger (sorry rest of internet), pretty good at Words With Friends and somehow seems to know all of the best blogs EVER.

So the new thing isn’t photoshopping TV quotes over hipster photos, it’s photoshopping TFLN quotes over TV screencaps.

"I’m incredibly grateful that things like Twitter and Tumblr didn’t exist when I was a teenager because my Internet footprint would be so much more cringe-y than it already is. I have the sense not to post complete crap all the time, but if I was 17 coming home from school every day with a Twitter account and a blog, it would be devastating. I totally would just have been crying for attention and then trying to chat up girls and failing miserably, and trying desperately to appear misunderstood and artistic. You know— the same as I do in the songs."
